| Welcome to the Aéroport Montréal Saint-Hubert Longueuil ! Aéroport Montréal Saint-Hubert Longueuil (AMSL) has an imposing infrastructure, comprising three runways, one of which is 7,840 feet in length, a control tower and wide variety of services including maintenance, refueling, flight schools, chartered flights, regular flights, aircraft parking, customs, restaurants, sale aeronautic equipment and in technical aeronautical training. Several high-profile companies, employing close to 3,000 people, are also located in the airport zone. These include Pratt & Whitney Canada, which uses the airport as an operations base for its in-flight engine test; the Department of National Defence, which uses the airport as a training site for military flights; the Canadian Space Agency; and Mel's Cité du Cinéma. The École nationale d'aérotechnique, a leader in technical aeronautics training in Quebec, is also located at the airport. AMSL is currently a general aviation facility, with 150,000 movements annually, mainly of smaller aircraft of all types. The airport regularly sees Boeing, Airbus and military aircraft. AMSL is also ideally positioned due to its strategic geographic location. Located 15 minutes from downtown Montreal, it has direct access to major highways and public transit networks.
